Incompatible Video Formats

Sometimes your editing program will not accept a particular video format (esp. Windows Movie Maker). You will need to convert to a compatible format. Below are resources and tools that can help you convert your media.
Windows formats: .wmv, .avi, .mpg
Mac formats: .mov, .mp4 (often)

K-Lite Codec Pack A compilation of Codecs and DirectShow filters necessary for decoding and encoding both audio and video formats.
