Taking a Screenshot With Windows Vista

From MITVWiki

To take a screenshot in Windows Vista:

1:Click the Start Orb

2:Click All Programs

3:Click Accessories

4:Click Snipping Tool

To take a screenshot of part of the screen:

5a: Click the arrow left of New

6a: Select Rectangular Snip

7a: Drag the area you want to take a screenshot of

8a: Click Save (the floppy disk)

9a: Name your file

10a: The screenshot will be located in Pictures

To take a screenshot of a window:

5b: Click the arrow left of New

6a: Select Window Snip

7a: Click on the window you want to take a screenshot of

8a: Click Save (the floppy disk)

9a: Name your file

10a: The screenshot will be located in Pictures

NOTE: For best results, deselect "Show selection ink after snips are captured" (Snipping Tool>Options)
