[edit] Not everybody has Window Movie Maker -- not every editing program support Window Media files
The article specifically mentions that not all formats used by digital cameras can be used with Windows Movie Maker.
Movie maker is possibly the worst editing software I have ever seen.
There are free alternatives that are far better and a few of them (Cinelerra for example) can even do for pro editing -- especially if you use a lot of effects that require a lot of processing power.
The wording should be changed so that it reflects that a pictures taken by a camera may not be useable by any particular editing software -- not just movie maker.
